Stanford University Library is an outstanding workplace in a beautiful part of the world. We pay market rates for software developers, and we develop free and open source software for our own use, as well as for the use of libraries and cultural institutions around the world.
We are currently developing a program to support geospatial data within our digital library software. This will include developing a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) and a front-end discovery solution based on OpenGeoPortal (http://opengeoportal.org).
I would be interested in hearing either from people with strong geospatial infrastructure experience (e.g., GeoServer, PostGIS, GeoNetwork, solr) and/or strong front-end GIS development skills (e.g., OpenLayers). Bonus points if you have both.
This job is based in Stanford, California. You must be able to work legally in the United States. You must be willing to relocate, but a relocation allowance is available.
